The Puzzle of Perimenopause

Perimenopause includes the several years of changes before and the year following the last period. This video explains, through interactive discussions and diagrams, the chaotic and often high estrogen surges in perimenopause. Additionally, instructions are given to women on the use of the Daily Perimenopause Diary, a tool that will help women track and understand their own complex experiences. CeMCOR is now recruiting Canadian women for this CIHR-funded randomized controlled trial to test whether oral micronized progesterone is more effective than placebo as therapy for hot flushes and night sweats in perimenopausal women.
