Call for Abstracts: Menstrual Health: Research, Representation and Re-Education

The Society for Menstrual Cycle Research (SMCR) conference takes place from June 23-25 2017 near Atlanta GA. SMCR is an international, interdisciplinary open and activist group focusing on taking the stigma and shame out of women’s menstrual cycles and honouring women’s experiences across the lifecycle.
SMCR is now accepting abstracts for this meeting click here for more information and guidelines. Deadline for submission is Jan 31 2017.

The theme for this year's conference is"Menstrual Health: Research, Representation and Re-Education". A pre-conference session for Thursday, June 22, 2017 is also being planned. The focus on this pre-conference session will be “The Menstrual Cycle as a Vital Sign: What Health Care Professionals Need to Know about Menstrual Health.” The target audience for this pre-conference session will be professionals working in various aspects of women’s health.
